2011 Volvo XC60 2.4L Diesel · TIG 1902

The 2011 Volvo XC60 demonstrates stable roadworthiness based on its recent MOT history, with the most recent test on 2025-06-03 at 103,505 miles recording no defects. All prior tests from 2020 to 2024 also passed without issues, indicating consistent maintenance and no emerging mechanical concerns. The absence of advisories or failures across this five-year span suggests the vehicle has been well cared for, with no evidence of recurring faults or deteriorating systems. The mileage progression aligns with typical usage for a 15-year-old vehicle, averaging 6,900 miles annually. The MOT records show regular testing, though a 17-month gap between the 2020-11-09 test (76,665 miles) and 2022-06-23 test (78,692 miles) may indicate periods of reduced activity or delayed servicing. Subsequent tests show steady mileage increases, with no abrupt spikes that might suggest excessive wear on components like brakes or suspension. The clean history implies minimal exposure to severe mechanical stress. A buyer should physically inspect suspension components, such as coil springs and bushes, for age-related wear, as these are common failure points in older Volvos. Brake systems, including discs and calipers, should be checked for corrosion or uneven wear, though no issues were flagged in the records. Structural integrity remains unverified by the MOT data, so a thorough underbody inspection for rust or damage is recommended. The vehicle’s maintenance pattern suggests reliability, but age-related degradation in non-MOT-covered areas cannot be ruled out.
