2017 Suzuki Gsxr 125 X AL8 0.1L Petrol · VN67 ATV

The vehicle is currently not roadworthy as the only recorded MOT test on 18 November 2023 resulted in a failure. There is no evidence of a subsequent pass or a current valid certificate, meaning the bike has been without legal road status for some time. The lack of detailed defect data for that failure makes it impossible to determine if the issues were minor consumables or serious mechanical faults. The recorded mileage of 3,322 miles is exceptionally low for a 2017 model, averaging roughly 369 miles per year. This suggests the motorcycle has spent significant periods stationary. While low mileage reduces general drivetrain wear, long-term inactivity often leads to secondary issues such as perished tyres, seized brake calipers, and battery degradation. A physical inspection must prioritise the braking system and tyres. Given the low usage and the failed test in November 2023, the buyer should check for binding calipers and ensure the tyre rubber has not hardened or developed flat spots. The fuel system and battery also require scrutiny to ensure the bike has not suffered from prolonged dormancy. The absence of a successful MOT since 2023 indicates a lapse in maintenance. A buyer should verify the current structural integrity of the frame and check for corrosion on exposed metal components, as a bike that sits idle in damp conditions is prone to surface rust. Confirmation of a fresh MOT is essential before any purchase.
