The vehicle's overall roadworthiness is assessed as passing, with the most recent MOT test on 2025-07-04 at 18,410 miles showing no defects. This date is approximately 17 months prior to today, placing the inspection within the normal maintenance window for a 2014 model with 18,410 miles. The test has been passed since the 2020s, which is a stable trend for the vehicle's age and mileage. The mileage pattern shows a consistent accumulation of 1,534 miles per year, which is low for a 12-year-old car and suggests the vehicle has been maintained with reasonable regularity. There are no gaps in the record that would indicate a sudden drop in usage or a significant acceleration of wear. The data is clean and consistent, meaning the mechanical components have not been subjected to severe stress or damage that would require immediate intervention. A buyer should inspect the vehicle for structural integrity and mechanical reliability, specifically focusing on the suspension, brakes, and drivetrain. Given the consistent passing of the MOTs, there is no evidence of a recurring fault or structural risk. However, the 12-year age of the car necessitates a thorough check of the suspension bushings, coil springs, and binding calipers to ensure they remain in good condition. The brakes should be examined for corrosion and binding, and the drivetrain for wear on the clutch and transmission. The exhaust emissions and structural integrity of the chassis should also be verified to ensure the vehicle meets current safety standards.
