2012 Toyota Aygo 1.0L Petrol · WP12 AFJ

The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness profile, maintaining a consistent record of passing annual tests. The most recent inspection conducted in October 2025 at 90,837 miles resulted in no recorded defects, indicating that the current owner has addressed previous wear-related issues. While the history shows minor failures regarding consumable components, the absence of recurring mechanical failures or structural corrosion suggests a reliable level of maintenance over the years. The mileage pattern is remarkably consistent for a fourteen-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 6,500 miles per year. There is a notable increase in usage between April 2019 and October 2020, where the car covered over 20,000 miles in eighteen months. Since then, usage has settled back into a steady rhythm of roughly 7,000 to 10,000 miles annually. This low-to-moderate mileage generally reduces the strain on the drivetrain and rubber-based components that typically degrade on high-mileage city cars. A physical inspection should focus on the suspension and tyres, as these areas have shown recurring wear. The 2021 test flagged worn anti-roll bar linkage bushes, and the 2022 and 2024 tests identified multiple tyres reaching legal limits or showing uneven wear. This pattern suggests that potential alignment issues or premature suspension bushing fatigue should be monitored closely. The buyer should verify that the current tyres have deep tread and check the front suspension for any play or knocking to ensure the issues noted in previous years have not returned.
