2012 Toyota Yaris 1.3L Petrol · WP12 AFY

The vehicle passed the DVSA test on 28 August 2025 at 89,562 miles with no defects recorded, confirming it remains roadworthy and that the maintenance trend is stable, showing no signs of worsening. From September 2022 (70,301 miles) to August 2025 (89,562 miles) the odometer increased by roughly 19,260 miles, averaging about 6,420 miles per year, which aligns with typical usage for a 14‑year‑old Yaris. The only irregularity is the duplicated 2024‑09‑13 entry showing both a pass and a fail at the same mileage, but all subsequent tests from 2023 onward have been clean with no recorded defects. A buyer should inspect the suspension bushes and coil springs for cracking or excessive play, examine the brake discs and calipers for scoring, rust or binding, and verify that the exhaust system meets emission standards. Structural integrity should be assessed for rust on the chassis rails, wheel arches and underbody, while tyre tread depth and wiper blade condition, though consumable, merit visual checks. Given the consistent pass rates and absence of recorded defects, the Yaris appears well‑maintained, but a thorough physical inspection of the highlighted components is advisable before purchase.
