2017 Honda HR-V 1.5L Petrol · WV67 XMP

The vehicle remains roadworthy, having passed its most recent test in September 2025 at 29,659 miles. The maintenance trend shows a stable pattern of minor consumable wear rather than any escalating mechanical or structural failures. While the car consistently avoids major defects or advisories, the recurring presence of tyre-related advisories suggests that previous owners only addressed replacements until components reached legal limits or showed significant wear. The mileage profile is exceptionally low for a nine-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 3,300 miles per year. The record shows consistent, low-interval usage moving from 14,110 miles in 2021 to 29,659 miles in 2025. This low annual mileage typically implies less stress on the engine, drivetrain, and suspension components. However, long periods of standing can sometimes lead to degradation of rubber components, such as seals and wiper blades, which aligns with the minor issues regarding washers and wipers noted in earlier tests. A buyer should prioritise a physical inspection of the suspension geometry and alignment, as the repeated reports of edge wear on multiple tyres across 2022, 2024, and 2025 indicate potential tracking issues or worn suspension bushes. The buyer should also check the brake discs for corrosion or pitting, as low-mileage vehicles often suffer from surface rust due to infrequent use. The absence of structural rust or brake failures in the history is a positive indicator, but the recurring tyre issues necessitate a professional wheel alignment check to prevent further premature uneven wear.
