2009 BMW Z4 2.0L Petrol · YB58 OGG

The 2009 BMW Z4 presents as roadworthy with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent test on 27 January 2026 at 57,818 miles returned a pass with no defects recorded, continuing an unbroken sequence of clean MOT outcomes since at least March 2022. Recorded mileage sits at 57,818 against seventeen years of age, an average of roughly 3,400 miles per year. The DVSA data shows gentle, consistent accumulation: 51,253 miles in March 2022, 53,254 in March 2023, 54,657 in January 2024, 56,058 in January 2025, and 57,818 in January 2026. No gaps or sudden jumps appear. The sparse, fault-free history implies a low-use vehicle cared for well enough to avoid advisories on brakes, suspension, emissions, or structure. A buyer should still commission a physical inspection beneath the car. Low annual mileage and possible long standing periods raise the risk of dormant corrosion on subframes, floor pans, and suspension mounting points even where testers logged nothing. Check coil springs, suspension bushes, and brake calipers for seizure from inactivity. Verify the underseal and structural integrity around sills and rear axle mounts. Confirm brake disc condition and tyre sidewall age, as rubber degrades with time rather than miles. The record shows no recurring faults, but static storage wear is invisible to a clean MOT sheet.
