2017 Land Rover Discovery 3.0L Diesel · C12 CCO

The vehicle demonstrates stable roadworthiness, with no defects recorded in its last three MOT tests, including the most recent 2026-04-10 inspection at 129,223 miles. All prior tests from 2022 to 2025 also passed without issues, indicating consistent maintenance and no emerging mechanical concerns. The absence of advisories or failures suggests the car has been well-maintained, though high mileage at 14,358 miles per year raises potential wear considerations for components like brakes, suspension, and drivetrain. The mileage progression shows a steady increase, with 97,016 miles recorded in 2022 and 129,223 miles in 2026. A six-month gap between the 2022-10-10 and 2023-04-15 tests is notable, but no irregularities are flagged in the data. The vehicle’s annual mileage aligns with typical usage for a 9-year-old model, though the high average implies frequent operation. No significant gaps or anomalies in the MOT history suggest the owner prioritized regular inspections, though this does not confirm proactive servicing beyond what is legally required. A buyer should physically inspect high-mileage wear points, including suspension bushes, coil springs, and brake discs, which may show accelerated degradation. The absence of corrosion reports is positive, but Land Rovers are prone to underbody rust in harsh conditions, so a thorough structural check is advised. While the MOT record shows no immediate risks, the vehicle’s age and mileage warrant scrutiny of the exhaust system, steering components, and fluid levels to confirm continued reliability. No recurring faults are evident, but the lack of detailed defect reports limits insight into long-term mechanical health.
