2016 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque 2.0L Diesel · AE16 VOK

The vehicle presents a stable and exemplary maintenance trend, evidenced by a clean pass on 13 January 2026 at 89,718 miles with zero defects recorded. Every single MOT test in the provided history has passed without a single advisory or failure, indicating a highly consistent upkeep pattern and a robust mechanical condition for a vehicle of this age. The accumulation rate sits at approximately 8,900 miles per year, which aligns perfectly with typical usage. Between the December 2021 test at 54,096 miles and the January 2023 test at 66,598 miles, the vehicle covered 12,502 miles over a thirteen-month period. Subsequent intervals show a steady return to a regular annual cadence, with 7,840 miles covered between February 2024 and March 2025, and 6,015 miles between March 2025 and January 2026. There are no alarming gaps or sudden spikes in usage that would suggest prolonged standing or excessive short-journey strain. Because the MOT record is entirely devoid of advisories, the history offers no specific recurring faults to target. A spotless MOT certificate does not guarantee the absence of age-related deterioration. A buyer must physically inspect the condition of the suspension bushes and coil springs, as these components degrade silently over time and rarely trigger an MOT failure until severely compromised. Pay close attention to the structural integrity of the underbody and subframes for corrosion, a common issue for off-road capable vehicles of this era. Checking the condition of the brake discs and calipers for binding or lipping, alongside verifying the operation of the air suspension compressor if equipped, remains prudent despite the clean paperwork. The previous owner clearly maintained the vehicle to a standard that satisfied the tester, but a physical inspection remains the only way to confirm the current state of these wear components.
