2018 Audi A3 2.0L Diesel · BV18 AMO

The vehicle appears mechanically stable based on the available data, though the MOT history is severely outdated. The most recent test on 2 March 2022 at 98,129 miles resulted in a pass with no defects recorded. However, this test occurred over four years ago, meaning the current roadworthiness status is unknown and the vehicle is not currently legal for road use. The mileage pattern shows a significant surge in usage over a short period. Between 16 February 2021 and 2 March 2022, the odometer climbed from 71,977 to 98,129 miles. This represents an increase of 26,152 miles in just over a year, far exceeding the average annual usage for this model. Such rapid accumulation often accelerates the wear of drivetrain components and suspension bushings. A buyer must conduct a thorough physical inspection of all high-wear consumables. Given the high mileage and the long gap since the last official inspection, the brake discs and pads likely require replacement. The tyres and wiper blades should be checked for perishing or tread loss. Particular attention should be paid to the suspension system and the chassis. High-mileage Audi A3s often develop play in the control arms or leaks in the shock absorbers. A professional should also check for underside corrosion and ensure the engine oil and cambelt intervals have been adhered to, as the MOT record does not provide evidence of routine servicing.
