2007 Peugeot Partner 1.6L Diesel · GV07 WWM

A consistent history of clean roadworthiness defines this vehicle, with the most recent recorded test on 10 September 2015 showing no defects. The MOT record demonstrates a stable trend of passing tests without recurring issues, aside from a single failure in July 2012. This failure was isolated to a deteriorated offside front lower suspension arm ball joint dust cover, a component-specific issue that was rectified to achieve a pass. Aside from that specific instance, the documentation shows no recorded patterns of structural corrosion, brake system degradation, or exhaust emission failures. The vehicle has covered 119,225 miles over its lifespan, which equates to an average annual accumulation of approximately 6,275 miles. This represents a relatively low-mileage usage profile for a 2007 model, suggesting the vehicle has likely been used for short-distance or occasional trips rather than high-frequency motorway driving. While lower annual mileage can reduce wear on drivetrain components and engine internals, it can also mean the vehicle has spent more time stationary, which may affect the condition of rubber seals and various suspension bushings over a nineteen-year period. Given the specific failure noted in the 2012 record, a physical inspection of the front suspension geometry is advisable. While the ball joint dust cover was the recorded fault, the buyer should pay close attention to the overall integrity of the suspension linkages. During a test drive, listen for any rhythmic knocking or clunking sounds when navigating uneven road surfaces or speed bumps, as these can indicate worn ball joints or deteriorated suspension bushes. Any wandering sensation in the steering or a tendency for the vehicle to pull to one side during straight-line driving could suggest that the front-end components require further attention. Because the MOT history lacks recent data and shows no recorded advisories for braking or steering components, a thorough check of the consumables is necessary. Inspect the brake discs for heavy pitting or uneven wear and listen for any grinding or squealing that might indicate binding calipers or worn pads. Additionally, check the condition of the tyres and the integrity of the suspension mounts, as the low annual mileage profile can sometimes lead to age-related perishing of rubber components that may not have been captured in the earlier, more frequent testing periods.
