2012 Volkswagen Tiguan 2.0L Diesel · SA12 DHX

A consistent record of roadworthiness defines this vehicle, with no advisories or defects listed across the last three years of testing. This stable trend is evidenced by the pass achieved on 21 August 2025, although the history notes same-day failures in both 2024 and 2025, which typically indicate minor defects resolved immediately during the inspection process. The recorded mileage of 89,594 miles over a 14-year period reflects an average annual usage of approximately 6,400 miles. This moderate accumulation rate suggests the vehicle has not been subjected to the heavy wear associated with high-mileage commercial or long-distance use, nor has it suffered from the degradation typically linked to extended periods of inactivity. Given the absence of specific advisories regarding the chassis or braking system, there are no flagged components requiring immediate corrective attention based on the DVSA data. However, a prospective buyer should still evaluate the suspension bushes and steering linkages during a test drive, listening for any knocks or vibrations when traversing uneven road surfaces to ensure no wear has developed since the last inspection. Attention should be paid to the engine bay for any signs of oil misting and the operation of the drivetrain for smooth transitions. While the MOT history shows no issues with structural integrity or exhaust emissions, a physical check for any underbody corrosion and a verification of the brake pedal firmness will confirm that the vehicle's physical condition aligns with its clean testing record.
