2011 SEAT Altea 1.6L Petrol · DA61 VNJ

The 2011 SEAT Altea presents as roadworthy with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent test on 22 November 2024 at 49,685 miles returned a pass with no defects recorded, continuing an unbroken four-year sequence of clean results. Annual testing from 2021 to 2024 shows low and consistent use for a fifteen-year-old vehicle. The odometer read 37,679 miles on 26 November 2021, then 43,242 miles in November 2022, 46,640 miles in November 2023, and 49,685 miles in November 2024. That equates to roughly 3,000 to 6,000 miles per year, with no gaps or sudden accumulation. The DVSA record is sparse but entirely clean across all entries, suggesting the previous keeper kept the car lightly used and presented it for test in good order. A buyer should still commission an independent inspection before purchase. No advisories for corrosion, suspension bushes, coil springs, brake discs, or exhaust emissions appear in the history, yet the Altea has now stood for over nineteen months since its last test. Prolonged static storage risks perished rubber components, seized calipers, and underbody corrosion invisible to a pass certificate. Given the absent fault history, the main risk is latent age-related deterioration rather than documented neglect. Verify the condition of tyres, wiper blades, and fluid intervals in person, and confirm structural integrity around sills and subframes given the low-mileage but long-dormant profile.
