2016 Vauxhall Vivaro 1.6L Diesel · FH65 WPZ

The 2016 Vauxhall Vivaro presents as roadworthy with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent test on 13 January 2026 at 165,543 miles returned a pass with no defects recorded, and the three prior annual passes show no advisories or mechanical faults flagged across the preceding four years. Mileage stands at 165,543 over roughly ten years, an average of 16,554 per year which is high for a light commercial of this age. Records show steady accumulation: 132,592 miles in January 2023, 143,117 in January 2024, 153,903 in January 2025, and 165,543 in January 2026. The test history is sparse but clean, with only a duplicate January 2024 entry showing a fail logged at 143,117 miles with no defects cited, immediately followed by a pass the same day, suggesting an administrative anomaly rather than a genuine mechanical defect. No recurring faults, corrosion, suspension bushes, brake discs, or exhaust emissions issues appear in the DVSA data, so the record implies consistent basic upkeep by the previous keeper. A clean MOT run at this mileage does not itself confirm component condition beneath the test threshold. A buyer should still commission an in-person inspection of structural integrity, subframe corrosion, and drivetrain wear given the high annual use. Check coil springs, binding calipers, and tyre tread depth physically, as these consumables fall outside MOT fail limits until severely degraded.
