2014 Honda Jazz 1.3L Petrol · LP63 AZJ

An exceptionally low-use profile defines this 2014 Honda Jazz, which has maintained a consistent record of clean MOT certificates with no recorded defects or advisories across its entire testing history. The most recent pass on 05 February 2026 confirms a continued trend of zero recorded failures or advisories, mirroring the results seen in every recorded test dating back to 2020. This longitudinal absence of reported issues regarding structural integrity, braking systems, or emissions suggests that the components inspected during these annual checks have remained within legal tolerances. The vehicle has covered only 18,803 miles over approximately twelve years, representing an average annual accumulation of roughly 1,567 miles. This usage pattern is significantly lower than the UK national average and indicates the vehicle has spent much of its life performing short-distance journeys or remaining stationary for extended periods. While low mileage typically results in less mechanical wear on drivetrain components and suspension linkages, such infrequent use can sometimes lead to the stagnation of fluids or the uneven drying of rubber seals and bushes. Given the lack of any recorded advisories for corrosion, leaks, or suspension wear, a physical inspection should focus on components that can degrade through inactivity rather than high-mileage friction. During a test drive, pay close attention to the smoothness of the braking action to ensure no binding occurs in the calipers, which can happen when a vehicle is not driven frequently. Listen for any sudden knocks or knocks from the suspension when navigating uneven surfaces, as rubber bushings can occasionally perish or harden if left unworked for long intervals. Check for any signs of fluid weeping around the engine and gearbox, as stagnant oil can sometimes lead to seal contraction. While the MOT history shows no recorded emissions issues, the low annual mileage means the engine has likely operated at low temperatures for most of its life; therefore, monitoring the engine's performance and idle stability during the test drive is advisable. The absence of any recorded mechanical failures in the DVSA data provides a baseline of roadworthiness, but the specific usage profile necessitates a close look at the condition of rubber components and fluid integrity.
