2023 Volvo V60 Core B3 Mhev Auto 2.0L Hybrid electric (clean) · PJ72 KWE

The vehicle passed its most recent MOT on 18 March 2026 at 50,258 miles with no defects recorded, indicating current roadworthiness. However, this is the only test entry available for a three-year-old car, leaving the maintenance trend effectively unknown. A single clean pass does not establish whether previous ownership maintained consistent servicing or allowed issues to develop between inspections. At roughly 16,753 miles per year, the Volvo has accumulated mileage well above average for its age, suggesting frequent long-distance use rather than prolonged standing. No earlier MOT tests appear on record, which is unusual for a vehicle registered in 2023. This gap makes it impossible to assess wear progression on high-mileage components such as brake discs, suspension bushes, coil springs, or the hybrid system. The absence of advisories in the latest test is reassuring, but the sparse history limits confidence in long-term mechanical condition. Given the high annual mileage, a buyer should prioritise inspecting brake performance and pad/disc thickness, as well as checking for uneven tyre wear that could indicate suspension geometry issues. Examine the exhaust system and underside for early signs of corrosion, particularly around the rear subframe and sill panels. Verify that the MHEV system operates smoothly, with no warning lights or unusual noise during acceleration. Finally, review the service book to confirm that timed items such as the auxiliary drive belt and transmission fluid have been changed according to Volvo’s high-mileage schedule.
