2017 SEAT Ibiza 1.2L Petrol · SV12 ASH

The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness profile based on the available MOT history. The most recent test conducted on 28 November 2025 at 60,732 miles resulted in a pass with no defects recorded. This follows a curious failure on 31 October 2025 at 60,410 miles where the record lists no specific defects for the failure, suggesting either an administrative error or a technical testing anomaly rather than a mechanical trend of deteriorating components. The mileage pattern is consistent with typical usage for a nine-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 6,700 miles per annum. The data shows steady progression, with roughly 6,200 miles covered between January 2023 and December 2023, and another 5,900 miles recorded between October 2024 and October 2025. This low-mileage profile suggests the car has not been subjected to heavy-duty cycles, which generally preserves drivetrain and suspension components compared to high-mileage counterparts. Since the MOT record is clean of recurring advisories regarding structural corrosion, brake components, or suspension wear, a buyer should focus their physical inspection on age-related items that do not always trigger an MOT failure. Check for cracking in rubber bushes and control arm mounts, which can perish over time regardless of low mileage. Given the lack of recorded brake issues, verify the condition of the brake discs for pitting and ensure the calipers are not seizing, as long periods of standing can lead to surface oxidation.
