2009 Aston Martin Vantage 4.7L Petrol · V8 XVS

The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness status with a remarkably clean maintenance history. The most recent inspection on 21 November 2025 at 38,333 miles resulted in a pass with no recorded defects, following a minor failure in September 2025. That previous failure was limited solely to a non-functional offside front position lamp, a trivial consumable issue rectified immediately thereafter, suggesting the owner is responsive to basic safety-related compliance requirements. The mileage profile is exceptionally low for a seventeen-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 2,255 miles per year. Data shows significant periods of low use, such as the 1,141-mile gap between the December 2022 and October 2023 tests. However, the more recent increase in activity with 1,257 miles covered between December 2024 and November 2025 indicates a slight recent shift in usage patterns. While the low mileage reduces mechanical wear on the drivetrain and engine, such long intervals often lead to the degradation of rubber-based components and fluid breakdown due to infrequent operation. A physical inspection should focus on components affected by long-term storage rather than high-mileage wear. The buyer must verify the condition of tyre sidewalls for cracking and inspect suspension bushings, which can perish regardless of mileage. Given the low usage, the braking system should be checked for surface corrosion on discs or seized calipers that frequently occur when vehicles sit for extended periods. The absence of structural advisories across the record suggests the chassis has remained dry, but a close look at the underbody corrosion points remains necessary for a vehicle of this age.
