2016 Ford Mustang 5.0L Petrol · V8 XVT

The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness profile with a consistent history of clean passes. The most recent inspection conducted on 21 May 2025 at 24,846 miles returned no defects or advisories, indicating that the car currently meets a high standard of operational readiness. This follows three consecutive years of clean results, suggesting that the mechanical and structural components have remained within acceptable parameters during use. The mileage pattern is exceptionally low for a ten-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 2,485 miles per year. Data shows a significant gap in usage between October 2021 and May 2023, where the car covered only 3,990 miles over nearly twenty months. This rate of travel suggests long periods of storage. While this low mileage generally reduces wear on the drivetrain and engine, it increases the risk of rubber-based components degrading. This was historically evidenced in the MOT test on 17 February 2021 at 15,466 miles, which flagged a perishing front tyre with uneven inner wear, a common symptom of stationary vehicles. A buyer should prioritize a physical inspection of all rubber components and fluids to account for the low-mileage nature of the vehicle. Check for sidew cracking on tyres and perished suspension bushes or hoses, as age affects these materials regardless of distance travelled. Because the car has sat for extended periods, inspect the brake discs for surface corrosion and test for seized brake calipers often associated with infrequent use. The record shows no history of structural corrosion or mechanical failures, implying the primary integrity of the Mustang remains well-preserved.
