The vehicle’s most recent MOT test on 2021-11-16 at 1,150 miles recorded a pass with no defects, but the prior test on 2021-11-15—just one day earlier—showed a failure with no recorded issues. This inconsistency suggests potential administrative error or unreported concerns. No defects were noted in earlier tests from 2018 to 2020, which spanned 216 to 1,150 miles. The maintenance trend shows no recurring mechanical faults, but the lack of data post-2021 raises questions about the vehicle’s ongoing roadworthiness. The recorded mileage of 1,150 miles over 14 years equates to an average of 82 miles annually, far below typical usage. This low mileage implies prolonged inactivity or minimal operation, increasing risks of component degradation from stagnation. Notably, the 2018 test at 216 miles preceded a 2019 test at 712 miles, a 496-mile jump over 13 months, followed by a 97-mile increase by 2020. Such sparse data limits insight into wear patterns, though the absence of defects in these tests suggests no immediate mechanical failure. A buyer should prioritise inspecting the vehicle’s structural integrity, as long-term storage can accelerate corrosion in underbody components. Suspension bushes, coil springs, and brake calipers may exhibit binding or stiffness due to inactivity. The absence of tyre tread or wiper blade issues in the records is positive, but visual checks for dry-rotted rubber and fluid leaks are essential. Given the lack of post-2021 MOT data, verifying the vehicle’s current condition through a professional inspection is critical before purchase.
